Dr. Shahnaz B. Ahmed

Dr. Shahnaz B. Ahmed graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD) in 1999. After graduation she completed a one year General Practice Residency at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis. In the year 2000, she joined a two year hospital and school based residency program in Pediatric Dentistry, at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital in Indianapolis graduating in 2002.

She continued to stay in Indianapolis for a year, working for Marion County Health Department providing pediatric dental care to the underserved children. In 2003, Dr. Ahmed moved back “home” to St. Louis. She worked at a local pediatric dental clinic before she decided to take on the venture of opening her own practice.

Dr. Ahmed is a member of the American Dental Association and its component societies (the Missouri Dental Association and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society). She serves as the editor of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society Magazine, st. louis dentistry where she brings a fresh perspective to dentistry in St. Louis and more! Dr. Ahmed is also a member of the craniofacial team at St. John’s Hospital lead by Dr. Jeffrey Marsh, a renowned pediatric plastic surgeon. Dr. Ahmed currently resides in Ballwin, where she enjoys tennis, hiking, reading, writing, playing the violin, and stage acting.

Anyela

Anyela joined the team late last year. We are pleased to have her bring her experiences with us. She graduated with honors from Missouri College, St. Louis. Anyela is a motivated individual who also teaches Sunday school at church. She is very patient with children and loves to work with them to build great oral hygiene habits. Anyela comes from a multicultural background and is multilingual. She brings her positivity to our office. We are excited to have her share her experiences working for Jefferson Outcast, where she helped feed the homeless. When it comes to West County Pediatric Dentistry, she does it all. She can help you with your accounts, scheduling, and she’s also excellent in the back helping the children.
